“Becky’s portrait work stood out for her ability to capture the personalities of young people in a variety of expressive environments.

Her painstaking framing of the subject, and her diligent coaxing of their regard through a range of moods and attitudes, has paid dividends in a stupendous set of portraits for our anniversary publication.”

I mainly work on location however studio shoots are also available on request. Workshops can either be online or in person.

The Everyday Cyclist

Everyone can take up space in the cycle lanes. This is the ethos pushing the pedals of this project.

For too long, imagery around cycling has been dominated by certain stereotypes.

Not enough has been done to truly celebrate the ‘everyday’ cyclist and share just how versatile, and even life changing, a bike can be.

Physical inactivity is responsible for 1 in 6 UK deaths and transport is the largest emitter of greenhouse gases, accounting for 26% of all emissions in the UK.

Disrupting the visual landscape around cycling is vital. What you see, you can be.

An elderly woman with white hair and glasses, wearing a maroon sweater, is sitting at a dining table with a red patterned tablecloth, preparing her food. The table has plates, glasses of water, and various breakfast foods, including bananas, bread, and condiments. Behind her, there is a wooden hutch with glass doors displaying dishes, a clock on the wall, and a decorative mounted ducks on top of the hutch.

A Second Helping

An intimate and highly personal collection of images which sensitively tells the story of various visits to see my Grandma in Somerset.

“During the workshops, Becky instigated meaningful discussions between carers and facilitated creative photography-related activities.

Becky was welcoming, encouraging, and eager to address any incoming questions posed by the carers in a thoughtful manner.

Becky’s positive attitude and professionalism made her a pleasure to work with and we would wholeheartedly recommend her.”
